By browsing or otherwise using the website of OLGA GONZALEZ, P.A. (the “Site”), you agree to the following terms:

(1) Informational Purposes. The Site is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Your use or review of the Site does not create an attorney-client relationship with Olga Gonzalez, Esq. or OLGA GONZALEZ, P.A. (the “Firm”). The content of the Site is not a substitute for obtaining legal advice pertaining to your circumstance or fact situation in the appropriate jurisdiction and you should not in any way rely, act, or fail to act based on the content of the Site.

(2) Engagement/Representation. You may contact the Firm by telephone, e-mail, or other communication, but an attorney-client relationship is not established until a written engagement/representation letter is executed between you and the Firm and any conditions set forth in the engagement/representation letter are fulfilled. The engagement/representation letter will describe the Firm’s fee/billing arrangement, scope of representation, and other important terms of the attorney-client relationship. Prior to establishing an attorney-client relationship with you, the Firm may need to obtain information from you to ensure the prospective representation is acceptable and does not create any conflict of interest with other clients of the Firm.

(3) No Confidential Information Prior to Engagement. You will not send any confidential information to the Firm until an attorney-client relationship has been established and you agree that any information exchanged before such time is not confidential. We recommend you provide only general information about yourself and your case without providing specifics, facts, or other confidential information until you engage the Firm to represent you.

(4) Children/Minors. The Site is not intended for or directed to minors, but we understand young people may be excellent inventors and we welcome the opportunity to serve the intellectual property needs of minors only through their parents or legal guardian(s).

(5) Office and Applicable Law. The Firm maintains offices exclusively in Coral Gables, Florida, USA at 4000 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, Suite 470, Coral Gables, FL 33146. Olga Gonzalez, Esq. who is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and registered to practice before the US Patent Office is the responsible attorney.  Nothing contained in the Site is intended to imply the Firm has locations or offices in any other jurisdiction. In some cases, the Firm may associate with other attorneys or law firms (“Local Counsels”) to carry out the legal work set out in the engagement/representation letter. The terms of your use of the Site shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to any conflict of laws provisions.

(6) Advertisement/Solicitation. This Site is not intended to be an advertisement or solicitation of any kind. Nevertheless, we inform you the hiring of an attorney is an important decision that should not be based solely upon advertisements.  Before selecting and hiring a lawyer you should obtain information about the abilities, qualifications, and experience of the lawyer to determine if the lawyer is appropriate for your needs.  If you are considering retaining the Firm, please request free information about our attorney qualifications and experience.

(7) Disclaimer of Warranties and Damages. The content of the Site and the Site itself is provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement.  The Firm periodically amends and updates the Site without notice. Under no circumstance shall the Firm be liable for damages of any kind, including any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages of any nature arising from your access or use of the Site.

(8) Intellectual Property.  The intellectual property rights in and to the contents of the Site and the Site itself are the sole and exclusive property of the Firm.  Any use of the content of the Site without the express written consent of the Firm is strictly prohibited.

 Privacy and Cookie Policy 

By browsing or otherwise using the website of OLGA GONZALEZ, P.A. (the “Site”), you consent to the following:

(1) Personal and/or Confidential Data. The Firm receives/collects information you may email to the Firm. As stated in the Terms of Use, when you initially contact the Firm, you acknowledge that you are not sending any personal or confidential data, until (a) the Firm confirms to you that it can represent you, (b) an engagement/letter is signed between you and the Firm, and (c) the conditions of the engagement letter, such as retainer/deposit, are completed. The Firm will notify you if any of your personal data is needed prior to its representation of you, such as for the purpose of doing a conflict check to confirm the prospective representation of you will not create any conflict of interests and is otherwise legally permissible. If your personal data is collected, but the Firm determines, it cannot represent you, the information collected shall not be used for any purpose other than to evidence that the representation was not undertaken and that the Firm notified you of such non-representation. The Firm’s collection of any information during representation of you, shall be for the purpose of fulfilling the terms of the representation and shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida and the Florida Bar Rules.  If the Firm accepts representation of you, your personal data and the information related to your representation shall be maintained confidential pursuant to the attorney-client privilege and/or as attorney work product. During the Firm’s representation of you, you may consent to publication or sharing of your personal data or information, such as for example, if you instruct the filing a patent, trademark, and/or copyright application in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, United States Copyright Office or the intellectual property offices in foreign countries. 

(2) Cookies. This website is hosted by Squarespace, who may use cookies, which are small files or pieces of text that download to a device when a visitor accesses a website or app.  The Firm has elected to use only functional or strictly necessary cookies, not analytics cookies. For the functional or strictly necessary cookies, Squarespace may collect personal data when you visit the Site, including information about your browser, network and device, the web pages you visited prior to coming to this website, and your IP address.  Squarespace needs such data to run this Site and to protect and improve its platform and services.  Squarespace analyzes the data in a de-personalized form.  This Site also uses font files from Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts.  To properly display this Site to you, servers where the font files are stored may receive personal information about you, including information about your browser, network, or device, and/or your IP address.  By using this Site, you consent to such use of your personal information.
